The Collaboration Corner began at our Basel boutique as a way to introduce the work of independent women-owned brands to our community.

As the boutique has evolved into MABUYA, so has the idea behind this space.

We love discovering people who create something worth looking at more closely. It might be an unusual technique, a beautiful material, an inventive design or a thoughtful approach to making things. Sometimes it's the story behind a piece. Sometimes it's simply the piece itself.

From fashion and accessories to textiles, objects and other unexpected discoveries, the Collaboration Corner brings different creative worlds into the boutique.

They don't need to belong to the same category or share the same aesthetic. What connects them is a personal appreciation for their work and a desire to introduce it to others.

We're particularly drawn to originality, thoughtful design, craftsmanship and people who care about what they create. We continue to value opportunities to support women-owned businesses, while remaining open to discoveries from different creative backgrounds.
