NO COMMENT Paris
Sometimes, the most interesting designs begin by questioning something we've always accepted.
Founded in France by Kristel Naman, NO COMMENT was born from a simple frustration: loving the look of bodysuits, but not always enjoying the experience of wearing them.
A filmmaker by profession and a creator by passion, Kristel decided to rethink this familiar garment, bringing together the elegance of a bodysuit with the comfort and practicality of everyday dressing.
Her first collection, Lebodi, introduces bodysuits without traditional snap fasteners. Made from soft, stretchy fabrics, they are designed to move with the body. Their clever construction allows the fabric to be shifted aside when needed, making them surprisingly practical to wear.
Produced in France and Portugal, her collections combine thoughtful details, flattering silhouettes and a fresh perspective on comfort and femininity.
Why I Fell in Love with NO COMMENT
What first caught my attention about NO COMMENT was the simplicity of the idea.
I've always been curious about people who question the way things are done and find a different, more thoughtful solution.
A bodysuit is such a familiar piece of clothing, yet Kristel looked at it and wondered why women should have to accept something uncomfortable simply because that's how it has always been made.
What I appreciate is that she didn't solve the problem by compromising on beauty. Instead, she found a way to bring comfort, practicality and sensuality together in a design that feels both simple and ingenious.
I'm equally drawn to her story. Coming from filmmaking rather than fashion, she followed her curiosity, explored a different field and created something around an idea she genuinely believed in.
There's something inspiring about that willingness to question, experiment and create.
NO COMMENT represents another side of what I love discovering for MABUYA: a thoughtful idea that makes an everyday experience better, without losing the pleasure of wearing something beautiful.
